Portal

The GEON Portal has been developed using the GridSphere framework, which implements the portlet architecture and is compatible with the JSR168, or Portlet API, standard. A large number of cyberinfrastructure projects have adopted this software for their own project portals. This includes BIRN (see http://portal.nbirn.net), TeraGrid (see http://www.teragrid.org/programs/sci_gateways/), CAMERA (see http://camera.calit2.net), LEAD (see https://portal.leadproject.org), etc. Information on GridSphere can be found at http://www.gridsphere.org/.
