Various software packages as well as Web services may also be registered with the GEON Catalog. An example of a software package is the GEON IDV (type “GEON IDV” in GEON Search). A number of Web services are available in GEON, e.g. a Web service for accessing IRIS data catalogs, a Web service for obtaining Moho data within a given bounding box, etc.
Similar to the process described for data search and contribution (see above), users can find existing software/services using the GEON Search function, and they can contribute such resources using the Contribute function.
