Research Goals: Development of advanced information technologies for data integration, map-based visualization, science workflows, visualization, and grid deployment.
Technologies being developed by the SDSC team can be seen in action at the GEON portal, e.g. GEONsearch, Data Registration, and myGEON. Also, the GEONgrid was deployed by members of the SDSC team.

Research Goals: To develop a portal for GEON and also online tools and applications for synthetic seismograms. SYNSEIS, the application for generating synthetic seismograms, is available at the GEON portal, under the "GEONscience" tab.
