The week-long Cyberinfrastructure Summer Institute for Geoscientists (CSIG) will be held from August 13-17, 2007, at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) on the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) campus. Sessions run all day with breaks and meals provided throughout.

Tentative topics are available on the Program Information page. A schedule will be posted when it is finalized.

On-campus apartment housing will be provided for CSIG attendees at no expense to participants. Attendees choosing CSIG-provided lodging will be asked to share an apartment with (1-2) other attendees.

Attendees prefering to stay elsewhere may do so, at their personal expense. Local hotel information may be found on the SDSC Local hotel info page.

On-campus meals will be provided to CSIG attendees throughout the course (beginning with dinner on 8/12) and at no expense to participants. Information regarding special needs, including meals and accomodations, will be solicited from accepted particpants.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expense to attend the CSIG. Additional local information (ground transportation options, campus apartment check-in details, etc) will be provided in materials forwarded to accepted participants prior to their arrival for CSIG.
