Audience
The EarthCube Summer Institute is designed for geoscience researchers engaged in computational and data science including, graduate students, postdoctoral associates, junior and senior faculty, and research staff. ECSITE’13 in particular will target early career faculty, especially those who are interested in carrying forward the concepts learned at ECSITE into their own research activities and to their classroom teaching.

Logistics
ECSITE’13 will be held at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, UC San Diego, La Jolla, CA. Boarding and lodging for 5 nights/days will be provided on the UCSD campus for attendees from academia, if requested. Check-in will be on Sunday, August 11^th and checkout on Friday, August 16^th, 2013. A meal card will be provided for use in UCSD cafeterias.
