  • GeoEarthScope LiDAR Point Cloud Data for Northern California Released
GEON is pleased to announce the release of the first batch of GeoEarthScope LiDAR point cloud data for Northern California. This release includes data for the extent of the tiled DEMs currently available via the GEON LiDAR system. Access to these data is via the NoCal GeoEarthScope page in the GEON LiDAR Portal (goto site). Through this page, registered users are able to download raw point data as well as dynamically generate custom digital elevation models from the point data. Please stay tuned for the release of the remaining tiled DEMs in the near future
  • Beta Version of EarthScope Data Portal (ESDP) Released
The EarthScope Data Portal team—consisting of members from the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), Incorporated Research Institution for Seismology (IRIS), University NAVSTAR Consortium (UNAVCO) and International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP)—successfully released the beta version of the EarthScope Data Portal (ESDP) on June 4th.
