GEON ( hosted a two-day meeting on current developments and identifying further needs and opportunities in the area of cyberinfrastructure (CI) for the Geosciences. Research results from the GEON project as well as those from other members of the community were presented.

Over 115 participants attended from more than two dozen institutions. The meeting was webcast live over the Internet. Video archives and presentation materials are available on the Presentations page and digital images are on the Photos page.

Keynote speakers at this year's Annual Meeting were SDSC Director Fran Berman, AGU President John Orcutt and Calit2 Director Larry Smarr.
